Sentences: What are Sentences?

What are sentences? Sentences are a group of words giving a complete thought. In essence sentences are a set or words that contain a subject and predicate. For example: You learn languages. You is a subject and learn languages is the predicate. In these examples, the sentences are in bold. Check out our sentences infographic.
